Born and raised in the suburbs of Houston, Texas, I grew up exposed to a boiling pot of music and culture. I was raised by my Father, who had a love for classic rock and my Mother, who grew up singing classic country and rock. As for myself, I love various genres: Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, EDM, Country, the list goes on.

Being submerged in all the musical culture and talent Houston has to offer as a young man fueled my passion for music. Talents like Starr Jernigan, Christ Elliot, Richie Dale, Myrna Sanders, and Kelly Chambers helped to fuel my passion for music. I had been singing all my life, but the amazing talents of those artists and so many others is where I drew the inspiration to pursue music for myself and also to search for and showcases the talents of other musicians.

As a Singer/Songwriter, I defy the conventional categorization of “Genre”. I prefer to dabble in various styles of music, because my passion for music cannot be contained to just one. I love the melodic riffs and booming vocals of Metalcore, the soulful vocals and rhythm of Blues, the heartfelt story telling and Southern twang of Country, and the raw intensity of Rock.

After seeing how difficult it is to gain exposure for my own art, I started studying how to do exactly that. With these new found methods, I decided not only to pursue music for myself but blogging as well. As a blogger, my sole purpose is to put up-and-coming artists from various genres and cultures in the spotlight by sharing their art and their stories with the world.
